I grew up in Sheffield and reached a scratch handicap at the age of 15 years old and later turning professional off -1. Competing in varying professional tour events with the aspiration of making it as a player. ​

Competing myself I have won events throughout the UK and internationally as a professional, always striving to improve my game and realise my dream. Unfortunately this wasn't to be.

Throughout my career I have always had a passion for coaching so I channeled my focus into player development and launching my own coaching business. I have been coaching golfers of all levels for the past 5 years from complete beginners, club golfers, elite armatures, collegiate players and professionals.

Now I play for the love and enjoyment of the game and frankly have never enjoyed playing the game more than I do when playing with good friends. I do plan to return to competitive golf in the future
